Chelsea shape with ribbed body. This broth pot is complete with saucer and cover. The saucer has light all over crazing and a small rub to the rim. The pot is a slightly lighter blue than the cover and saucer, it has a very small glazing blemish on the side, light crazing and inside the pot there are a few small unglazed spots. The cover has has small glazing blemishes and tiny chip to the rim. All in all this sounds awful but as usual in real life looks much better than it sounds. Blue printed oval backstamp.

Backstamp: Spode England Italian Spode Design c1816 on the cup this is scored through to indicate it left the factory as a second.
A little surface scratching to the saucer and smudging of the pattern to the inside rim of the cup. Saucer is older than the cup.
