Chelsea shape with ribbed body. This broth pot is complete with saucer and cover. The saucer has light all over crazing and a small rub to the rim. The pot is a slightly lighter blue than the cover and saucer, it has a very small glazing blemish on the side, light crazing and inside the pot there are a few small unglazed spots. The cover has has small glazing blemishes and tiny chip to the rim. All in all this sounds awful but as usual in real life looks much better than it sounds. Blue printed oval backstamp.

As described in the 1920/30s Spode Catalogue. Lovely round base, with border pattern to the rim and main pattern to the centre. Blue printed oval mark, impressed crown and impressed date for 192? The lovely round cover has border pattern around the outside and main pattern to the top. It has a delightful little loop handle. Both pieces in superb condition.

This is an absolutely fabulous piece. Printed in a soft rich blue (the photograph does not quite do it justice!).

The base has a little minor surface scratching otherwise excellent condition. The wonderful dome has light crazing and a crack of approximately 5" which has been professionally stabilized.

Fabulous piece, a round patterned base, with patterned domed cover.
Backstamp: Spode England Italian Spode Design c1816 and date letter T for 1994. This is scored through to indicate it left the factory as a second.
The border pattern around the base is just a little hazy and underneath there a small manufacturing fault. To the top of the cover there is some shadowing of the glaze overall excellent condition.
