There is a tiny tiny stain just off centre and a little light crazing, these really are minor, the surface shows barely a scratch. The cover also has a little light crazing with a tiny tiny under rim chip not noticeable when cover in situ'. A little discolouraton to the spur of the handle and some to the inside rim otherwise fine. As usual our policy of mentioning absolutely everything about a piece makes this sound much worse than it looks! It is a lovely cheese dish - more squat and wider than the Carlisle shape. | Maker: Jones George Pattern:Abbey Candlesticks Pair c1915 A candlestick in George Jone's Abbey is rarely found these days. An original pair, that started out life together, in good condition is much rarer!
These sticks have good clear prints in dark blue, with only the occasional smudge or hazy bit. They have a lovely clear glaze, almost pearly. The inner rims of the sconces are decorated with the border design. Inside one of the sconces is a minor stress crack, which occurred during firing. There are a few lines of craze to the glaze. Otherwise these sticks are like new.

| Maker: Jones George Pattern:Abbey Cache Pot or Jardiniere c1930s An extremely rare item in Abbey, an oval jardiniere or planter. This is a lovely piece whether you are an Abbey collector or not.
The glaze is finely crazed and there are a couple of glaze blemishes, which occurred in manufacture, along with nibbles on the foot rim, which were glazed over. Overall a lovely bright piece in excellent condition.

| Maker: Jones George Pattern:Abbey Wash Bowl c1930 This bowl is large and grand. It would have been part of a toilet set. There were at least three different shapes of ewer and two of bowls. This bowl is decorated inside and out and has a plain everted rim.
Three stilt marks in the bottom of the bowl. The condition of this bowl is superb and it looks stunning on display.

One tiny rub to rim, some crazing of the glaze, but overall in excellent condition.

The strainer from the top looks unused however when turned upside down shows that it has an extensive hairline running from the rim nearly to the centre. The base has tiny hairline to rim.
