Vegetable Dish with Cover c1880
Usual lovely shape with wavy rim and moulded side handles. The base of this dish is about as good as they come! Printed in a very soft blue it is in the most superb condition. The cover is possibly a marriage although they fit together well. The cover is not as softly printed and has fine crazing with one or two small areas of very very light staining - barely noticeable. Lovely dish standing on four small feet with moulded side handles. Would originally have had a cover.
Backstamp: Asiatic Pheasants B & L Middleport Pottery.
Inside there is a little discolouration to the stilt marks and another small stain. The outer rim has some wear with a little minor discolouration, overall a lovely lovely dish.

Small oval dish with a central divide. Probably once would have had a lid, but now a very pretty piece on its own. Beautifully decorated both inside and out. Light all over crazing but it is still lovely and bright.

This is lovely! A small ladle with pattern printed inside the bowl and along the stem. This ladle is unusual in that it has the makers impressed mark underneath - B & L plus the impressed date for 1880. As for condition well the stem shows a few minor signs of age, but overall excellent.
