To the base there is a little wear and discolouration underneath and to the outer rim and inside some shadowing of the glaze. The lid is in excellent condition.

Delightful tureen on octagonal stand (rectangular with cut corners!) The pretty flower finial on the cover has a chip, and there is an under rim chip to the tureen but these do not detract from this lovely set.

Soup Tureen c1930s
Octagonal tureen with floral motifs around the outside and pretty floral rim border. The cover is superb with chinoiserie pattern and decorative moulded relief around the pretty finial. Complete with the standard Woods soup ladle. (They used the same ladle for most of their patterns. Small minor stain inside the base and a couple to the stem of the ladle.
