Lovely dish with wavy rim and moulded side handles. Backstamp: Wood & Sons England Semi-Porcelain. Excellent condition.

Bowl c1917
Made for the US chain Woolworth by Woods. Round bowl printed in a steely blue with pattern on the inside and decorative embossed detail to the rim. Backstamp: Ming Woolworth England Made in England, impressed Woods and date for 1917. The stilt marks are a little rough and have discoloured slightly, otherwise excellent condition.
Dimensions: 25 cm diameter, 5.5 cm deep / 9.75 ins diameter, 2.25 ins deep

Made for the US chain Woolworth by Woods. Round bowl printed in a steely blue with pattern on the inside only. Backstamp: Ming Woolworth England Made in England, impressed Woods and date for 1917 Inside there is a little minor surface scratching and a little discolouration around the stilt marks otherwise excellent condition.
