Plate Taymouth Castle Perthshire c1825
Enoch Woods & Sons. This is a fabulous plate printed in a rich dark blue. There is a little roughness to the glaze on the back otherwise in excellent condition. Blue printed backstamp: Taymouth Castle Perthshire

Tea Plate Luscombe c1825
By Enoch Wood & Sons, depicting Luscombe in Devon. Luscombe Castle was built by John Nash in 1800 for Charles Hoare, the banker. It is a castellated mansion with a large Gothic porch and a central tower. The grounds were designed by Humphrey Repton. Blue printed cartouche with Luscombe, Devon and impressed mark ENOCH WOOD & SONS, BURSLEM.
A few signs of wear and some minor crazing to the glaze on the back. The face is clean and bright.
These small plates are difficult to find.

Plate Cashiobury c1825
By Enoch Wood & Sons, depicting Cashiobury in Hertfordshire. Cashiobury, on the outskirts of Watford was an Elizabethan mansion remodelled by Hugh May in 1674-1675 and by James Wyatt in 1800. It was the seat of the Earl of Essex, but was demolished in 1922.
Backstamp: Cashiobury, Hertfordshire and impressed Enoch Wood & Sons Burslem.
A little surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.
