Toilet Box c1851
William Brownfield. An extremely pretty box beautifully decorated both inside and out. Backstamp: on base 5910 in script, on cover impressed registration mark (for the shape 10 October 1851). The base is crazed with a little light discolouration. The cover has a little minor wear to the rim otherwise excellent condition.

Meat Dish or Platter c1847
A stunning dish with ornate embossed detail to the rim. No backstamp, except for an impressed O, which was a mark often used by Wood and Brownfield and pattern number 2667 in script. A little surface scratching with some wear and a little discolouration on the back and to the inner and outer rims. There are a few minor manufacturing blemishes making this sound much worse than it looks! It is a wonderful dish.
