Maker: Wood and Brettell  Pattern:The Birds Nest

This has to be one of the lovliest plates we have seen. A fabulous fruit and flower border surrounding the wonderful central pattern of a mother feeding her chicks. No backstamp but this design is often attributed to Wood and Brettell. There is a touch of crazing and just a touch of roughness to the stilt marks but overall in stunning condition.
