Light all over crazing and a scratch which goes across the centre, otherwise absolutely fine.

| Maker: Wilkinson Pattern:Jenny Lind Vase with Cover c1896 An attractive vase (rectangular ovoid) with rectangular cover, main panels decorated with the Jenny Lind design and subsidiary panels and cover with an early form of Calico. There is gilt line decoration with gilt mask side handles and a gilt dog of fo finial to cover.
In bright clean condition. There has been an area of professional restoration to one side of the neck of the vase and a little wear to the gilt mainly on the cover.
Usual blue printed cartouche for Jenny Lind pattern, including the initials C M & S for Charles Meigh and Son the original makers of this design with A J Wilkinson Ltd, Burslem added above and below. Incised No. 182 for mould or shape number.
