Plate The Webb House c1929
Printed on the back The Webb House, Wethersfield, Con. In this house, known as Hospitality Hall. In 1781, Washington, Rochambeau and others held council in regard to the siege of Yorktown which resulted in ending the Revolutionary War. Made in England for Connecticut Society Colonial Dames. Printed and impressed Wedgwood marks and impressed date for 1929 and also bears the importers stamp Jones, McDuffy and Stratton Boston. Excellent condition.
