This Chinese Fisherman design is printed in black and the maker is believed to be Edward Walley of Villa Pottery, Cobridge, Staffordshire, active 1845 to 1858. Not in the best condition, the glaze is finely crazed, with signs of use and wear, including rubs to the rim. Interesting small decorative plate.
