Printed in a smoky blue/grey with hand applied enamel colour. All with gilt rims and gilt highlights to the floral decoration although some of the gilt does show signs of wear. The tazza has a small under rim chip to one side handle and the comports show minor signs of wear underneath with just a few lines of crazing - nothing major. All in all an impressive set. | Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern:Unidentified Pattern colour Sponge Dish c1861 A stunning footed dish with strainer, printed with gorgeous lustre decoration. The strainer is printed on both sides.
Backstamp: Impressed TS and date for 1861.
Light all over crazing with a little wear to the lustre on the rims otherwise excellent condition. This would make a fabulous dish to serve freshly washed soft fruit.
