This is one of the most beautiful floral series, of which the maker remains unknown, although Rogers has been suggested. There are a number of different flowers in the series, but the distinctive border has the berries, leaves and blossom of strawberries.
There is no backstamp. The glaze is bright and clean, but the rim is worn and there is a minor rim chip at 10 o'clock and a hairline affecting the rim only. Overall an attractive plate that looks lovely on display.
