Tankard New Orleans c1960
Wonderful tankard of New Orleans Louisiana featuring the International Trade Mart, St Louis Cathedral and the Jackson Monument.
Backstamp: Fabulous New Orleans Birthplace of Jazz. For the young at heart and adventurous in spirit. St Louis Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in the United States, was completed in 1794. The French Quarter is made up of beautiful old buildings with intricate lace balconies. The Cafe du Monde one of the oldest cafe's offers a beautiful view of Jackson Square. Along with the old, the New International Trade Mart Building shows New Orleans is a growing American City. A most interesting plate printed in a steely blue. On the front Souvenir of Portland Oregon and titles explaining the views - Coming of the White Man Statue in Plaza Park, Steamers in Cascade Locks, Lewis & Clark Memorial Building, Willamette River Falls, Hotel Portland and in the centre Kaiser in Augusta Victoria Portland Oregon.

Crazed with a little bubbling of the glaze and tiny blemish to the rim.

Oh this is such fun. A large ashtray printed in a fabulous shade of mulberry.

This pattern also known as Friendship. A gorgeous little piece with barely a scratch to the surface however it does have a small hairline to the rim, which thanks to the density of the pattern is noticeable mainly from the back.
