Excellent condition, few signs of wear round rim of bowl and a little fine crazing to the glaze mainly on the border, otherwise clean and bright.

| Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern:Ruined Abbey and Beasts of Burden Soup Plate c1820 Delightful scene of ruins and man with two packhorses. There were possibly two makers of this pattern as although the design itself remains consistent it is found on two different styles of plate. This plate has a flat base, without foot rim, and three single stilt marks on the face on the border.
No makers backstamp.
Excellent condition, with sound glaze. A beautiful example.

There were possibly two makers of this pattern as although the design itself remains consistent it is found on two different styles of plate. This plate has a single foot rim and three single large prominent stilt marks under the bowl.
No makers backstamp.
Excellent condition, some fine crazing to the glaze and a couple of tiny chips behind the rim, which do not affect the face. The tissue appears to have been torn to the right of the temple, top-right, resulting in a short white line in the picture. Overall, a clean and bright specimen.
