A fabulous Gaudy Welsh jug with multi faceted body and lovely embossed decoration around the rim and to the foot. No backstamp. A little wear to the handle otherwise excellent condition. A similar jug is illustrated on page 37 of Gaudy Welsh by Monica A South.
Dimensions: 0.9 ltr, 19.5 cm high / 1.5 pint, 7.75 ins high
