Jug or Pitcher c1835
A beautiful early jug with delightful floral design. The glaze is crazed and there is a stress hairline running down under the spout to the body, which appears to have occurred during manufacture and it does not show through to other side. Apart from the occasional glaze blemish it is otherwise bright and clean and in excellent condition. Blue printed backstamp of scroll cartouche, containing rather indistinct Paris Vase pattern name, with Canton China trade name beneath. Neither the pattern name nor the trade name appear to have been recorded previously.

A delightful jug with a gorgeous floral pattern. Backstamp: Paris Vase. Light all over crazing with a couple of small very minor firing faults inside to the base. Overall excellent condition.
