| Maker: Unattributed Maker Pattern:Morea Meat Dish or Platter c1835 An absolutely fabulous dish with gorgeous floral border surrounded the central scene. Morea pattern is a series of different romantic scenes appearing on the various pieces. It is well recorded and usually shown as maker unknown, however, on the strength of having in the past had a platter with the impressed Dimmock monogram, we attribute pieces to Thomas Dimmock of Shelton and Hanley, Staffordshire active 1828 to 1859.
Backstamp: blue printed cartouche with Morea and Stone China beneath.
