Jug or Pitcher c1840
An absolutely gorgeous large jug. Backstamp: Japanese. It has some discolouration to the handle and rim and the spout rim is very worn. There is a hairline to the rim of approx. 1.5 ins, another at the base of the handle and a small firing fault at the start of the handle. Nevertheless, this remains a really lovely jug.
Dimensions: 2.1 ltr, 16.5 cm high / 3.5 pint, 6.5 ins high
