This is a most attractive mug with two different scenes, one on each side set against a bold floral background. Delightful scenic border around the inside of the mug. No backstamp. A similar mug is featured on Page 229, Vol II of The Dictionary of Blue And White Printed Pottery, where it is given the pattern name Heritage Scenes. It is crazed with some staining, mainly inside. There is some wear to the handle and small hairline to the base. Overall a beautiful piece.
