Soup Plate c1815
Lovely soup plate, the background printed in a pale blue with the vignettes printed in a slightly deeper but soft blue. The plate is crazed with a some associated discolouration but the surface remarkably unscathed.

Dinner Plate c1825
This design is usually associated with Spode, but this plate has no backstamp and has an ochre rim, which is a decorative technique not associated with Spode. The design is identical with Spode's Greek.
The central scene is Zeus or Jupiter in his chariot.
Extremely fine crazing to the glaze, hardly visible on the face, which is bright and clean. A good example of this popular design.
