Bowl with Foot c1825
This bowl is printed in lovely tones of blue and the pattern is similar to Flowers and Leaves by Henshall and Leaves and Flowers by Herculaneum, but is not identical to either. It is more of a broad border pattern than a sheet pattern and is printed inside and out and in the centre inside is a cartouche or vignette of the main elements. No backstamp or maker's mark. The bowl is in excellent condition and rings beautifully. There are a few signs of wear and rubbing and the glaze is a little gritty, but all very minor. This is a wonderful survivor.
