This vase or jar with cover was sold at Cheffins, Cambridge as Lot 1 of their sale on 17 Nov 2004 and described as: Attributed to Spode, a 19th century jar and cover printed in blue with a plantain by a zigzag fence between foliage scroll bands, the over painting of flowers, grass and bamboo in iron red and green, the cover with gilt reclining lion finial.
Dimensions: 57cm high / 22.5 ins high
