Vase c1810
A wonderful small early spill vase. Vases of this type are recorded made at the Cambrian Pottery, Swansea, although generally taller at 13.4cm, whereas this one is 11.5 cm. The pattern appears to have been only recently recorded and is entered in the Transferware Collectors Club database as Ruins at the Gate Chinoiserie, which is the name assigned to it in the database. No backstamp. Light all over crazing and the pattern is a little hazy in parts, overall excellent condition.
