Lovely jug with continuous hunting scene around the body. No backstamp. Light all over crazing with just a little minor wear to the rim and a little roughness to the glaze under the spout, overall excellent condition.

Jug c1930s
A lovely jug with a continuous hunting scene around the body. Backstamp: Crown Pottery Est 1774 John Tams Ltd England. A few very minor signs of wear and a small area of thin glaze where the blue has a slightly green tinge, overall excellent condition.

Jug or Pitcher c1900
This fabulous jug has a continuous hunting scene around the body. Backstamp: Crown Pottery Est 1774 John Tams Ltd England. Crazed with a little minor discolouration inside, overall excellent condition.

Plate c1896
with gilt. An extremely ornate plate with superb embossed decoration to the rim surrounding the unusual central scene made by John Tams of Crown Pottery, Longton, Staffordshire. Backstamp: impressed Rd 281324. Tams registered the shape of plate on 14 August 1896. A little minor wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition.

Cache Pot or Jardiniere c1920s
This is a fabulous cache pot. Lovely grapevine border with wonderful bird design around the body. Backstamp: Tams Ware Est 1774 Crown Pottery John Tams Ltd Stoke on Trent England Patent. There is a little surface scratching inside to the base and just a touch of thin glaze here and there to the rim where the blue appears a little green, otherwise in excellent condition.

Toilet Box c1890
Made by John Tams of Crown Pottery, Longton active from 1875 onwards. Pretty box with floral decoration to the cover and fluted detail to box and cover, with added gilt decoration. Backstamp: Rd No 154350 and in script the pattern number 1299. The floral design was registered by Tams 1st August 1890. Crazed with wear to the gilt.
