Meat Dish or Platter c1840
This is magnificent both in size and aesthetically. A huge dish printed in a pale blue with lovely floral border surrounding the central scene. Made at the Sunderland or Garrison Pottery at Sunderland, County Durham, which was operated by a number of different partnerships from 1807 to 1865. Backstamp: Medina and impressed Dixon Co. There is a little wear to the outer rim and on the back and the occasional blemish, overall excellent condition.
