Meat Dish or Platter c1930s
Very attractive shape with wide floral border surrounding the main scene, printed in a soft steely blue. Backstamp: John Steventon & Sons Ltd Burslem Made in England. There are a couple of tiny nicks to the rim and on the back a very small manufacturing fault. The pattern is a little hazy in parts and ther is a little light crazing. Sounds much worse than it looks!

Vegetable Dish Base c1930s
Very attractive dish, would once have had a cover but is a lovely piece in its own right. Printed in a soft steely blue with pattern both inside and out. Attractive moulded side handles. Has some light crazing with just a hint of discolouration, otherwise excellent. This is a reproduction of the original Elephant pattern made by Rogers. Blue printed Steventon & Sons marks and "Reproduction of Rogers 1780"
