Maker: Stevenson  Pattern:Chinoiserie Ruins
Warming Dish c1815
This early design was made by Rogers, Ridgway and Davenport, but here is the version by Ralph Stevenson of Lower Manufactory, Cobridge, active 1810 to 1832. Lovely dish with side handles and spout. The base is hollow to hold hot water. No backstamp. Light crazing with two small hairlines to the rim. There is some wear to the inner and outer rims resulting in a little minor pitting and underneath some minor discolouration. Sounds much worse than it looks.
Dimensions: 25 cm diameter / 9.75 ins diameter
