Ewer c1850
An extremely elegant ewer with embossed detail to the foot. Marino was a pattern made by several potters and here by Stanley and Lambert a short-lived partnership producing at the New Town Pottery, Longton from 1850 to 1854. Backstamp: blue printed Marino S & L Longton. Light all over crazing and underneath there is a very small chip to the foot. Overall a beautiful piece.
