Meat Dish or Platter c1850
Lovely dish with gadrooned rim. The pattern is fully entitled Trophies Marble, the border being Marble or Mosaic pattern, Backstamp: Copeland and impressed Copeland under a crown. Some surface scratching with the occasional minor blemish and a couple of small rubs and a little wear to the gadrooned rim. On the back there is a little wear to the foot rim.

Meat Dish or Platter c1830
This pattern is more fully entitled Trophies Marble and it is only known on the gadroon shape, usually printed in deep Royal blue with the blossoms tinted (or clobbered) underglaze in orange. The border is Marble or Mosaic pattern, more often called Prunus and Cracked Ice these days, and the centre is Trophies Etruscan pattern. Blue printed backstamp Copeland and the rare impressed Copeland seal mark. Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 644 Crazed with some wear and discolouration to the rim. Overall fine.

Lovely plate with gadrooned rim and quite a pale print. The pattern is fully entitled Trophies Marble, the border being Marble or Mosaic pattern, Backstamp: Impressed Copeland over a crown. A little surface scratching with a small blemish and a little wear to the gadrooned rim.

Lunch Plate c1860
This pattern is more fully entitled Trophies Marble and it is only known on the gadroon shape, usually printed in deep Royal blue with the blossoms tinted (or clobbered) underglaze in orange. The border is Marble or Mosaic pattern, more often called Prunus and Cracked Ice these days, and the centre is Trophies Etruscan pattern. Blue printed backstamp Copeland and the rare impressed Copeland seal mark. Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 644. Some signs of wear, mainly rubbing to the rim, otherwise excellent.
