Basket c1815
A gorgeous pierced basket with lovely chinoiserie scene inside to the base. No backstamp. There are or two very minor stress cracks otherwise excellent condition.

Soup Tureen Stand c1830
This is an absolutely gorgeous piece. Made originally for a soup tureen to stand on but makes a great serving or display piece on its own. No backstamp but we have attributed this to Spode Minor surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.

Side or Cheese Plate c1815
The Bridge design was copied from the Chinese and introduced about 1808. This is the slightly later Bridge II version of the design. Much later in 1884 it was re-engraved and called New Bridge or Queen Charlotte pattern. There are signs of wear to this plate, the glaze is finely crazed and a couple of minor hairlines to the rim. The print is also slightly flown. Overall good condition. No maker's backstamp, but attributed to Spode. Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 183 and 15 March 1938.

Plate c1810
With gilt. Lovely early plate with indented rim. Backstamp: Spode. There is some wear to the gilt, some surface scratching and on the back some minor discolouration around the foot rim. Sounds much worse it looks!

Drainer c1805
An absolutely fabulous drainer in this lovely chinoiserie pattern. No backstamp. On the back there is a very small chip to the inner rim otherwise in superb condition.

Pickle Dish c1815
Delightful little diamond shape dish, which is one of four that would have sat on a large diamond dish. No backstamp. Crazed with some light discolouration and some wear to the rim.

Stone China with gilt Backstamp: Green printed seal, with Spode Copeland England Manufacturers Stoke on Trent and in red script 1 3822. A little wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition.

Meat Dish or Platter c1911
New Bridge or Queen Charlotte pattern, here pattern number 1/3822. The original Bridge pattern was derived from a Chinese original and introduced about 1808. Much later in 1884 the pattern was re-engraved and renamed New Bridge. This platter is printed in a deep blue with gilt rim. Backstamp: green printed C seal backstamp, with Spode Copeland England and Manufacturers Stoke on Trent a relatively rare backstamp. Also blue printed "Queen Charlotte Pattern on Spode Stone Body. Purchased by Her Majesty at the Works on July 3rd 1817." According to Robert Copeland The Times reported a visit to Spode's London showroom on that day and that Her Majesty ordered some of the "newly invented china, called stone china, by Mr Spode...", but no evidence has been found to identify the pattern or that the china was indeed delivered before she died in 1818. Some wear to the gilt, few signs of use, but overall excellent condition.

New Bridge or Queen Charlotte pattern. Stone china with gilt. A really lovely shallow dish with wavy rim. Backstamp: Copeland Spode England New Stone seal mark, Queen Charlotte T Goode & Co Ltd London, in script 1 3822 and some impressed date for 1926. Excellent condition.

Crescent Side Dish c1905
Stone china with gilt. Fabulous dish printed in a rich blue. Backstamp: Green printed Copeland Spode England seal mark with Manufactures Stoke on Trent either side. In red Manufactured for Harrod's Limited Brompton Road London and in script 3822. Very small minor chip under the rim and a touch of wear to the gilt otherwise excellent condition.
