Meat Dish or Platter small c1820
Spode introduced their Net pattern about 1800 and it was copied by the Herculaneum factory in Liverpool. Marked items are rare in this pattern so we have attributed this to Spode. No backstamp. On the back there is some wear with just a little discolouration.

A stunning large dish. No backstamp. Light all over crazing with a little wear to the inner and outer rims and the occasional small blemish and on the back there are a couple of small unglazed areas.

A lovely platter in this complex chinoiserie pattern. No backstamp. Light all over crazing with just a little very light discolouration mainly on the back. Overall excellent condition.

Dish with Cover divided c1815
This is a really unusual dish, with the base having a central divide with pattern. The base is white on the outside with pattern on the rim and inside. It is crazed with some light associated discolouration and a little minor wear around the outer rim. The cover is beautifully patterned all over and has a wonderful central scroll finial. It also has crazing to the glaze and there is a hairline to the rim. In spite of the crazing it still has a wonderful shine to it. Impressed Spode

Dish small c1820
Gorgeous little diamond shape dish with pattern on the inside only. Backstamp: Factory recorded mark for Net. Light all over crazing with a little minor wear to the rim, overall excellent condition.

Dish Devonia Dessert c1820
Devonia style dish from the dessert service. No backstamp. There are two tiny chips and small rubs to the angular points around the rimm underneath a little minor wear and elsewhere a few minor manufacturing blemishes.

Dessert Dish c1820
Devonia shape dessert dish No backstamp but we have attributed this to Spode. Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 649. To the rim there are a couple of rough unglazed areas where it touched another in the kiln. Also to the rim there is a small horizontal hairline and a little discolouration. Underneath there is some wear and discolouration to the foot. Sounds awful, looks lovely!

Comport c1820
Spode introduced their Net pattern about 1800 and it was copied by the Herculaneum factory in Liverpool. Marked items are rare in this pattern and this comport has been attributed to Spode from the details of the design and the shape of the piece. This beautifully shaped footed comport would have originally formed part of an extensive dessert service. It is decorated both inside and out and there is delightful floral decoration to the splay foot. In lovely condition, bright and clean and the glaze is sound. There is a small chip under the foot rim, which is virtually hidden from view. Superb display item of good proportions.

Sauce Tureen Stand c1815
Delightful little stand for a sauce tureen but a lovely piece on its own. Backstamp: Impressed Spode. A few minor signs of wear mainly underneath, overall excellent condition.

Dinner Plate c1815
Spode's Net pattern was introduced about 1810 and this plate is in superb condition, almost like new. It would be difficult to find a better one. Impressed backstamp Spode.

Plate c1840
One of the most complex of Spodes chinese inspired designs. Backstamp: Printed and impressed Copeland & Garrett Late Spode. Some surface scratching and a little wear to the outer rim and on the back otherwise excellent condition.

Drainer c1815
This is an absolutely fabulous drainer. It has a very small chip to the outer rim, otherwise is in fantastic condition. Blue printed and impressed Spode.

Dish Root c1820
Spode were not the only makers of Net pattern, but this dish is attributed to them on the basis of its shape. These dishes occur as root or sometimes radish dishes in early records and it has also been suggested that they may have been used for asparagus. No maker's backstamp, which is usual for Net pattern. Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 351. Glaze is sound. There are small chips under three of the corners of the handles and a few signs of wear, but excellent condition overall.
