Maker: Spode  Pattern:Flying Pennant
Sauce Ladle c1815
A delightful little ladle, beautifully patterned inside the bowl and along the stem. No backstamp. Tiny tiny manufacturing fault inside the bowl and a little discolouration to the tip of the stem otherwise excellent condition.
Dimensions: Bowl diameter 6.5 cm, overall length 16.5 cm / Bowl diameter 2.5 ins, overall length 6.5 ins
Maker: Spode  Pattern:Flying Pennant
Dinner Plate c1840
Made during the Copeland & Garrett era this plate is decorated with the Flying Pennant pattern, named after the pennant at the top of the mast on the boat in the foreground, which was introduced about 1805. Impressed backstamp Copeland & Garrett New Blanche and similar blue printed backstamp. There is some minor wear to the rim and a ding at 7 o'clock has created a short hairline, but this is all right on the rim or behind and does not affect the face, which is clean and bright. The glaze is sound and this plate is fundamentally in excellent codition.
Dimensions: 25.5 cm / 10 ins
