Toilet Box c1879
With gilt. Made during the Copeland era, this gorgeous toilet box beautifully decorated both inside and outside of the base and to the cover. Backstamp: Impressed Copeland Crown and date for September 1879 and in script D9807. There are a couple of very minor firing faults inside the base and a tiny tiny rub to the inner rim. The gilt is quite worn otherwise excellent condition. A lovely lovely piece.
