Maker: Spode  Pattern:Chinese Flowers
Dinner Plate c1830
A Spode design that is seen rarely today. It was introduced about 1815, with production continuing during the Copeland and Garrett period and beyond. The engraving appears to have been designed to be enamelled and pattern number 2486 was an enamelled version dating to about 1815. However, most pieces found today are plain blue. Backstamp: impressed SPODE 28. Few signs of use and really in excellent condition. A fine example.
Dimensions: 25 cm / 9.75 ins
