| Maker: Spode Pattern:Asiatic Pheasants Meat Dish or Platter c1895 A very attractive oval dish with embossed basket weave decoration to the decorative wavy rim.
Backstamp: Copeland Spode Impl Rd No 90067 and impressed date for 1895.
Light all over crazing and there is the occasional minor blemish and a white line within the pattern where the transfer tore when it was applied, however this is fairly minor and does not detract from this lovely dish.

| Maker: Spode Pattern:Asiatic Pheasants Plate c1895 This is such a pretty plate. Octagonal and with an embossed bow and swag decoration to the rim. There is restoration to one corner and the transfer is a little messy otherwise this plate is in excellent condition. Copeland Spode never produced Asiatic Pheasants, although marked pieces turn up rarely. They are believed to have supplied blanks to another unknown factory in the the 1890s for decoration. These dishes are extremely rare and this one especially so. There is an impressed backstamp Copeland over a crown and date mark for March 1890.
Copeland Spode never produced Asiatic Pheasants, although marked pieces turn up rarely. They are believed to have supplied blanks to another unknown factory in the the 1890s for decoration.
