Lovely large plate with fabulous wide border surrounding the central basket of fruit. Backstamp: Fruit Basket W S & Co and impressed W S & Co's Wedgewood. (An injunction was taken out in 1848 preventing the use of Wedgwood on Smiths wares, whatever the spelling). Crazed with a little minor wear otherwise excellent condition
