| Maker: Smith Pattern:Basket of Flowers green Dessert Dish heart shape c1840 By William Smith & Co of Stafford Pottery, Stockton-on-Tees Cleveland active 1825 to 1855 and decorated with Basket of Flowers pattern, which has an intriguing border design, printed in green on a beautiful heart shaped dish with pretty moulded pierced handle. A similar dish is illustrated on page 100 of Encylopedia of British Transfer-Printed Patterns 1790-1930 by Gillian Neale.
