Wonderful dish with fabulous acorn border inset with pattern vignettes all printed in a brownish black hue.
Backstamp: Haddon S B & Co.
With some surface scratching and wear to the outer rim and on the back some manufacturing blemishes and wear.

No backstamp, but other pieces in this service had Haddon A S & S (Anthony Scott & Sons Southwick Pottery, Sunderland, Durham.
Crazed with associated discolouration and on the rim is a prominent rough area, where this plate has touched another in the kiln and a small manufacturing chip, which has been decorated and glazed over. The border has a slightly blue hue to it.
