Meat Dish or Platter c1830
A delightful dish printed in a pale blue from a series of landscape views, some have been identified, but this one remains unknown. Backstamp: Impressed Rogers 14. There is just a little very minor discolouration to part of the rim and on the back some wear, overall excellent condition.

Dinner Plate c1830
John Rogers and Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire active 1815 to 1841. A series of landscape views, of which the location of some have been identified, but this one remains unknown. Impressed backstamp Rogers. Provenance: The personal collection of Gresham Copeland, passing by descent to his son Robert Copeland. Collection identification label on back AGC 545. The glaze is crazed and there are two minor rim chips, one to the face (at the top) and the other on the back. Overall bright and clean.

Plate c1835
John Rogers and Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire active 1815 to 1841. A series of landscape views, of which the location of some have been identified, but this one remains unknown. Backstamp: Impressed Rogers 8. Fine all over crazing with some surface scratching and a little discolouration to one of the stilt marks. On the back there is a little light discolouration, a small chip and a little wear to the foot and a small manufacturing fault. Sounds much much worse than it looks, this is a lovely plate.

Plate pierced rim c1825
John Rogers and Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire active 1815 to 1841. A series of landscape views, of which the location of some have been identified, but this one remains unknown. It is sometimes known as Lakeside View. There is a castle in the background and in the foreground men are fishing from a boat on the lake. Backstamp: ROGERS impressed and L plus blue printed two. The glaze is finely crazed, which has taken up some light associated staining, but this is confined almost totally to the back. A couple of minor hairlines in the arcading, but otherwise excellent condition.

One of series of views, this particular one not identified. Backstamp: Impressed Rogers. Surface scratching with some small blemishes to the face which have discoloured and a little discoloruation on the back.

Drainer View of Durham c1825
John Rogers and Son of Dale Hall, Longport, Staffordshire active 1815 to 1841. Rogers Views is a series of landscape views, of which the location of some have been identified, including this one which is Durham with the cathedral top right. The glaze is finely crazed, with some light associated staining. There are two small old rim chips, one at two o'clock and the other at four o'clock. Overall it looks bright and displays well. Cheese Stand c1830
A series of views, this particular one as yet unidentified. A very attractive cheese stand with gorgeous floral border surrounding the central scene. No backstamp. Light all over crazing and underneath a little pitting to the foot, overall excellent condition.
