Ewer c1888
A wonderful ewer with ovoid body and diamond shape neck, made by Joseph Robinson of Knowle Works, Burslem, active 1876 to 1898. They registered this shape of jug 15th February 1888 under registration number 93696 Backstamp: Napier Manufactured for Maple & Co Tottenham Court Road London and impressed registration number 93696 on raised pad. A little discolouration under the foot otherwise excellent condition.
Dimensions: 4.25 ltr, 31 cm high / 7.25 pint, 12 ins high
