| Maker: Ridgway Pattern:Unidentified Pattern blue with colour Plate hot water c1844 A most unusual plate, with slightly deeper foot rim than usual for a plate. Made by William Ridgway Son & Co of Hanley active 1841-1846.
Backstamp: Patent Ironstone China Hot Water Plate WRS & Co James Dixon & Sons - the latter were retailers. In script 182.
There is some wear to the outer rim and a little surface scratching, overall excellent condition. Dimensions: 26 cm / 10.25 ins

| Maker: Ridgway Pattern:Unidentified Pattern blue with colour Ice Cooler c1830 With gilt. A stunning, extremely decorative Ironstone cooler. Fabulous grape finial with embossed grape surround and ornate side handles and embossed leaf decoration around the base.
Backstamp: In script 171.
Light all over crazing with a little discolouration, some wear to the gilt and a couple of small hairlines to the rim and a longer one from the foot to half way up the cooler. Lacking the liner.
