Light all over crazing with some discolouration on the back and a small horizontal hairline to the outer rim, overall excellent condition.

Chestnut Basket c1825
This is an absolutely fabulous basket with ornate embossed pierced detail around the body and delightful embossed flower side handles. Floral border around outside and inside rim with small scenic cartouche inside to the base.
No backstamp.
Two hairlines to the rim have been restored and there is a small rub to one handle. Inside there is a little pitting around the pierced decoration and a couple of small blemishes to the base. In spite of all this it is a lovely piece.
