Beautiful dish decorated in hues of apricot, burnt orange, pink and a soft subtle green.
Backstamp: Simlay Ridgways Stoke on Trent, in script 2866 and impressed date for 1897.
A little surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.

Cake Plate c1901
With gilt. Very attractive tray blue printed under the glaze with hand applied enamel colour. A multi-purpose piece! Great as a tray, but would also look stunning on a dresser or hung on the wall. Very attractive moulded rim. Impressed date for 1901. Excellent condition.

Vegetable Dish Cover c1885
This lid is wonderfully decorative being both hipped and curved. The pattern is an oriental floral design, printed in blue, with enamel colours painted by hand. Cobalt finial with gilt highlights.
In excellent condition, this lid would look lovely as a wall decoration.
No backstamp, but this is definitely Simlay by Ridgway, pattern number 318 in red script.

Vegetable Dish with Cover c1885
Covered vegetable dish does not do justice to this delightful covered dish or tureen. It is almost oval, dips like a hip bath, and has two ornate side handles decorated in cobalt and gilt. The lid is also both hipped and curved.
The pattern is an oriental floral design, printed in blue, with enamel colours painted by hand.
In excellent condition, with just a little light staining inside the dish.
Brown printed cartouche with Simlay and Ridgway quiver and bow trademark with Stoke on Trent. There is a raised pad impressed with a registration diamond for the shape, but the details are illegible. Pattern number 318 in red script.
