The latter appears closer to the design.
A stunning piece with Britannia Metal cover and gilt highlights to the decoration. Fabulous embossed grape vine decoration where the ornate handle joins the body of the jug.
Backstamp: In script pattern number 1969.
There is a little minor wear to the cover and small chip underneath to the foot, overall excellent condition.
