Stunning rose border surrounds this comical scene of Mr Pickwick. Backstamp: "Mr Pickwick's Return From The Cricket Match. Pickwick by Chas Dickens 1837 Original Illustrations by R Seymour & Phiz Ridgways England Rd No 419438 and impressed date for 1903. Crazed with some light discolouration, although thanks to the density of the pattern this is mainly noticeable on the back. Overall a fabulous plate.

Crazed with some light discolouration, although thanks to the density of the pattern this is mainly noticeable on the back. Also on the back are a few manufacturing blamishes, overall though a fabulous plate.
