Soup Tureen Stand c1845
Made by William Ridgway & Co of Bell Works, Shelton and Church Works, Hanley, Staffordshire active 1834 to 1854. Marmora is a pretty and intricate design with scenes of imaginary Eastern locations. Backstamp: Marmora W R & Co. The glaze is sound, with some signs of use and utensil scratching. A few nicks and flakes mainly on the moulding of one handle, but quite minor. Overall excellent condition and a bright piece.
