Fabulous piece with weighted pewter cover. Backstamp: R.S.R (for Ridgway Sparks & Ridgway) Crazed with a little minor wear to the pewter cover otherwise excellent condition.

Lovely large tankard jug with gilt although much of it is worn. Printed Ridgway mark plus printed registration mark for 15th April 1880.

Jugs or Pitchers Set of Three c1886
Three fabulous jugs with rope effect handles. There is a little minor wear to the rims of the largest and middle jugs otherwise all in excellent condition. Blue printed bow and quiver Ridgway backstamp, with pattern name and registration diamond for 15 April 1880 and finally an impressed date for October 1886.

Jug or Pitcher c1885
Lovely jug with rope effect handle. Backstamp: Ridgways Stoke on Trent England Hawthornden and registration mark for 1880. Light crazing, the occasional very minor manufacturing blemish and a little blue smudging here and there. Overall excellent condition.

Teapot c1880
With gilt. Rectangular pot with indented corners and beautifully decorated all over. Backstamp: Partly obliterated Ridgways Hawthornden. There is a little wear to the gilt and to the rim of the pot and inside a little minor mottling. Also a little minor discolouration to the inside rim of the cover.

Coffee Pot c1880
With gilt. Backstamp: Ridgways Hawthornden and registration mark for 1880. There is a little wear to the inner rim of the pot and a small hairline and rub to the inner rim of the cover otherwise fine. A lovely pot.

Condiment Set c1880
This condiment set comprises of a pepper pot and an open salt. Both pieces have crazing and the pepper is lacking its stopper. Neverthe less the gilt is intact and a lovely set. Salt has a 2.5 ins diameter, and 1.75 ins high

Meat Dish or Platter with tree and well c1885
Generous sized rectangular meat platter with rounded corners, printed in a dark blue with Ridgways well-known Hawthornden pattern, with the added decorative feature of the tree and well to drain the juices. Blue printed backstamp: Ridgways and bow and quiver, plus pattern name in banner. Diamond registration mark for 15 April 1880. Impressed date code for October 1880 or 1890. The glaze is finely crazed and there is an indistinct hairline running in from the rim at 1 o'clock for about 4cm, otherwise in good shape.

Sauce Tureen Stand c1880
Pretty stand for a sauce tureen, or great as a small serving platter. We like to use these for butter! Backstamp: Ridgways bow and arrow mark Hawthornden and registration mark for 1880. Light crazing and a little minor wear to the outer rim.

Breakfast Cup with Cover c1880
A lovely two handled pot with a most attractive "blackberry" finial to the cover surrounded by moulded leaf decoration. Would originally have had a saucer. Fine crazing

Hors d'oeuvres tray c1875
With gilt. Fabulous triple tray with elegant scroll handle. Made by the Ridgway Sparks and Ridgway partnership. Backstamp: Hawthornden RSR and in script 4 7583.

Porringer c1875
With gilt rims. A lovely set. The saucer has blue printed backstamp: RSR and impressed Staffordshire Knot with initials R S R within, for Ridgway, Sparkes & Ridgway active 1873-79. The two handled cup has light crazing with just a little associated staining inside. The cover also has light crazing and a gorgeous acorn finial surrounded by embossed leaves highlighted with gilt and in script the pattern number 7583.

Vases Pair Moon Flask c1875
With gilt. A wonderful pair of vases with fish supports either side of the neck. Backstamp: Hawthornden RSR and in script 7587. There is a little wear to the gilt and one vase is crazed otherwise excellent condition.

Ridgway, Sparks & Ridgway. With gilt decoration. This is a fabulous piece. Round flat sided body standing on a rectangular foot with ornate moulded decoration either side of the neck. There is a little minor wear to the gilt otherwise in superb condition Blue printed backstamp Hawthornden RSR

Backstamp: Ridgways Hawthornden, diamond registration mark for 15 April 1880 and double globe mark for Whiteleys (retailers). Light all over crazing with just a touch of discolouration inside to the base and underneath plus a little minor wear to the rim otherwise excellent condition.

A lovely pot printed in a lovely rich blue. Backstamp: Hawthornden Ridgways England and registration mark for 1880. Inside and underneath to the foot there is some surface scratching otherwise excellent condition.
