| Maker: Ridgway Pattern:British Scenery Series Pickle Dish c1825 John & William Ridgway Delightful little dish with serrated rim and veined detail on the back giving the appearance of a leaf.
No backstamp.
There are two very small chips under the rim and light crazing otherwise excellent condition.
A similar pickle dish is illustrated in The Dictionary of Blue and White Printed Pottery by Coysh & Henrywood, Vol II, page 35.

| Maker: Ridgway Pattern:British Scenery Series Serving Bowl c1820 The British Scenery series has recently been attributed to John and William Ridgway of Hanley, Staffordshire. A number of different views have been recorded and some identified, but neither view on this bowl appears in the records.
This bowl has the usual blue printed BRITISH SCENERY cartouche. There are a few signs of age and use and one old chip under the foot rim. The glaze is sound and this piece is bright and clean.
Bowls in superb condition, like this one, are rare. Dimensions: 21.5 cm 90 cm high / 8.5 ins 3.5 ins high

| Maker: Ridgway Pattern:British Scenery Series Dessert Dish Riverside Cottages c1825 John and William Ridgway of Hanley made this popular British Scenery series and here an attractive dessert dish with wavy rim and ornate moulded side handle, with a view usually called Riverside Cottages.
Backstamp: Blue printed scroll British Scenery.
The glaze is crazed and there is wear to the rim with minor knocks and nibbles, mainly evident on the handle. The stilt marks are very evident, one in particular where the clay has parted just a little and is discoloured. Overall though a pretty dish. | Maker: Ridgway Pattern:British Scenery Series Meat Pot Ponte Molle c1820 John & William Ridgway. This is a fabulous oval meat pot with full scenic pattern around the outside and border pattern to the inside rim. The scene is an oddity in the British Scenery Series as it depicts Ponte Molle or Milvian Bridge, which spans the River Tiber in northern Rome.
No backstamp.
Light crazing with just a little minor discolouration and small blemish which has discoloured inside. Underneath there is a large chip to the foot which barely shows through. Overall a delightful little piece.
